This course introduces the students to the integration of
useful mathematical techniques on scientific concepts/ topics. It covers
lessons such as linear equations, systems of equations, exponential equations,
laws of indices, collecting data, operations on scientific notation, units of
measurement, and conversion.

This course builds upon the student’s knowledge on
properties of real number system, operation on different types of algebraic
expressions, and the solution of various types of equations and inequalities.
The course also covers the pre- requisite to trigonometry and calculus
specifically transcendental functions including the characteristics of their graphs and applications.
