This course uses both lecture and laboratory to understand medical and veterinary
entomology. This will cover and discuss the ways in which arthropods could cause and
affect the health and
well being of humans and animals. This includes identification of medically important arthropods and
those with veterinary importance and diseases transmitted. Likewise, different potential control and
management strategies of the arthropods will also be discussed.
