Managerial Economics
is a discipline that combines microeconomic theory with management practice. This course provides a theoretical framework for tying together
other courses in finance, marketing, operations, and managerial accounting. Its discussion includes how to use
economic theories and concepts in actual decision making specifically in its
application in the real world by aligning it with case analysis. In
addition, it discusses also how to determine the profit-maximizing level of outputs in different market
structures by actual calculations given existing data.
