The basic laboratory procedures and techniques in Organic Chemistry are discussed in this subject. The activities in this course will lead to the development of proper practices and habits including laboratory and chemical safety, waste minimization and proper or efficient use of resources, and the preparation of laboratory reports. This laboratory course will also help students appreciate and evaluate the application of the basic concepts and theories of Organic Chemistry as discussed in the lecture.
