The purpose of the Basic ROTC (MS1) Program Of Instruction (POI) is to
teach the students the values of citizenship, followership, personal
responsibility, and sense of accomplishment while learning essential
life skills that will develop their self-esteem, character, teamwork,
and self-discipline. This will prepare the students to be an
Infantryman, who has the appropriate character, knowledge, and skills
that will later be enhanced as they further progress in their personal
life and later on with their careers.
