This course is a
continuation of the course History of Western Philosophy I. It will discuss
from the Neo-Platonists to Augustine, Avicenna, Averroes, Aquinas, Scotus, and
until the shift from Medieval-theocentric thinking to the anthropocentric
philosophy of the Renaissance-Modern era.
