This course enhances student’s communicative
competence in the English language by improving their reading, writing,
speaking, and listening skills. These skills are integrated in literature-based
approach lessons where their grasp on conventional English grammar is also
improved through writing, listening activities, and public
speaking/discussions. Moreover, this course develops student’s critical
thinking and analysis skills by exposing them to sample literatures from
various countries.
